Alumni and Theses
ORGANIZATION OF THE MSc PROGRAM
The figure shows the temporal organization of the MSc Program. Students who want to apply for Erasmus Studium or Erasmus Traineeship should pay attention to the official calls issued during the year (for the Erasmus Studium program the call is typically issued in february): the calls are advertised in the international section of UniCt. Students that want to develop a thesis within a company or a research center can learn the thesis opportunities during the Automation Day, a one-day workshop where representatives of companies and research centers meet the students of the MSc Program. This meeting is typically organized at the University in December.

FINAL PROJECT TYPE
Students can develop their final project (thesis) in three different ways:
- Final project in the DIEEI lab
- Final project in Research Centers or Companies (Traineeship oriented to thesis)
- Final project abroad (e.g. with Erasmus program)
Some of the slide presentation of the students discussed during the degree sessions of the previous Academic Years are available at this link.
FINAL PROJECT TOPICS
Students can find here a (not exaustive) list of topics for the thesis. All professors of the MSc Program are available to provide more details on these topics and to discuss further opportunities:
- Opportunities in the DIEEI lab: see DIEEILabThesisOpportunities.pdf in the section "Useful Documents"
- Opportunities in Research Centers or Companies: for the list of companies and research centers that attended the Automation Day 2025 see the flyer AutomationDay2025.pdf in the section "Useful Documents"
