Dalila BONANNO

Dalila Bonanno was born in Syracuse in 1994. In 2020 she graduated in Industrial Engineering at the University of Catania. In 2022 she completed a thesis internship at Sonatrach Raffineria Italiana, Augusta. The object of the training was to acquire knowledge of the main refining processes, particularly on environmental and energy issues related to a sustainable energy transition perspective, and acquire the knowledge of a typical sustainability report and its drafting methods. In July 2022 she obtained her master’s degree in Chemical Engineering For Industrial Sustainability at the University of Catania, with a thesis entitled: "The sustainable energy transition of Petrochemical Pole of Syracuse". She currently holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering, Energy, Informatics, and Telecommunications at the University of Catania in collaboration with the company Cisma Ambiente, Melilli; a company active in the treatment and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste. The research activity concerns the processes and methodologies for the treatment and exploitation of industrial waste and waste for the circular transition of the enterprise.
