Expected Learning Outcomes

The aim of the course is to give students concepts of calculus II for several real variables function and problem-solving skills.

Detailed Course Content

Sequencies and Series of Functions. Differential calculus for functions of several variables. Implicit functions. Curvilinear integrals and differential forms.

  • Finding unconstrained and constrained local extrema of real-valued functions of several real variables.

  • Finding global extrema of real-valued functions of several real variables.

  • Computation of double and triple integrals.

  • Computation of line integrals.

  • Computation of surface integrals and flux integrals.

  • Studying the exactness of a differential form and finding the potential functions of an exact differential form.

  • Computation of line integrals of differential forms.

  • Studying the convergence of sequences and series of functions.
