Academic Career and Current Position:
Fixed-Term Researcher (RTD-A) in Electrical Power Systems (IIND-08/B) at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering (DIEEI), University of Catania (since 2022). Research Fellow at the same Department (2012–2015 and 2019–2021).
Teaching Activities:
Teaching activities carried out within the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and the Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering for Sustainable Green Energy Transition, focusing on electrical installations, renewable energy generation, electricity markets, electrical safety, and electrical power utilization.
Student Supervision and Mentoring:
Supervisor and co-supervisor of numerous Bachelor's and Master's theses in the fields of photovoltaic systems, distributed generation, and renewable energy sources.
Supervisor of research and internship activities carried out in collaboration with companies and institutions operating in the energy sector, including Enel X.

Visiting Researcher at the Laboratory Sciences For Environment, Université de Corse Pasquale Paoli (France), conducting research on photovoltaic power forecasting.
