Learning Objectives

Design techniques for optimal and robust control. Design of related MATLAB projects.


Course Structure

The course will consist in frontal lectures and laboratory activities. In the case the course would be taught in mixed more or in teledidactic, necessary changes with respect to what declared will be implemented to meet the program reported in the syllabus.


Detailed Course Content

Basic concepts of Robust Control and applications.

Models with uncertainty. LQR design. H infinite Control and Observer design.

Open loop- closed loop balanced representation.

Positive real Systems and Bounded Real systems.

Youla family of robust controllers.

LMI techniques.
