The procedure works in 2 steps.

·      First students apply for the pre-enrollment phase.

·      If the University admits him/her, the student can apply and finalize his/her enrollment.

The call for non EU students living abroad to enroll in English taught Masters' Degree courses for Academic Year 2022-2023 is published heredeadline 18th March, 2022
A list in order of ciassification for admission into each Master's course will be pubiished at https://www.unict.it/content!bandi-concorsi#studenti  by  April 12, 2022. These candidates if necessary will be invited to an individual interview (even through Skype) to verify the adequacy of their preparation. 
The interview will take place around mid September 2022 at 10.00 in room P6 of the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, viale A. Doria n. 6, building 3, Catania. The interview may also take place via videoconference, upon request made to the email address: giacomo.morabito@unict.it. Prof. Giacomo Morabito is the MS Degree coordinator.
The interview will focus on basic topics concerning the scientific-disciplinary sector ING-INF / 01 - "Electronics" with particular reference to analogue electronics, ING-INF / 05 - "Information Processing Systems" with particular reference to the fundamentals of information technology, and ING-INF / 03 - "Telecommunications" with particular reference to the Fundamentals of Telecommunications.

AT THE END OF THE PRE-ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE, IN CASE UNIVERSITY ADMITS THE FOREIGN STUDENT AND HE/SHE ACCEPTS THE POSITION, THE STUDENT SHOULD FINALIZE THE ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE.

SATISFYING REQUIREMENTS

To be suitable for attending the Master Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, students should provide evidence of satisfying requirements in terms of competences in the following fields:

 

A Minimum of 24 CREDITS in courses attended at the Bachelor Degree on topics of the following areas:  MAT/01 or MAT/02 or MAT/03 or MAT/04 or MAT/05 or MAT/06 or MAT/07 or MAT/08 or MAT/09 or FIS/01 or FIS/02 or FIS/03 or FIS/07

A Minimum of 21 CREDITS in courses attended at the Bachelor Degree on topics of the following areas:  ING-INF/01 or ING-INF/02 or ING-INF/03 or ING-INF/04 or ING-INF/05 or INF/01 or ING-IND/31

Methods for assessing the adequacy of preparation.

All candidates must complete the application form (Articles 2-3 of the procedure) by proceeding within the terms and in the manner requested by the institution. 

The commission assesses the adequacy of the personal preparation of candidates through the analysis of the curricula, without prejudice to the provisions of the University's didactic regulations on the assessment of the non-obsolescence of the cognitive contents of credits earned for more than 6 years.
