Lucio COMPAGNO
Full Professor of Industrial mechanical plants [ING-IND/17]
Lucio Compagno was born in Caltagirone (Italy) in 1953. He received his mechanical engineering degree in 1978 at University of Pisa. He started to work with big companies as a mechanical designer. After a few years as a technical consultant, in 1992 he joined University of Catania (Italy) where actually he is an associate professor, teaching “Industrial plants management”. His research interests include also logistics, industrial maintenance, and risk analysis. He is responsible of many research projects sponsored by public and private bodies.
