    • Integration of renewable energy based Distributed Generation with Low Volotage and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Networks.
    • Study of innovative structures and management for “Active” Distribution Networks and Smart Grids:
      • Analysis and operation of autonomous and non-autonomous Microgrids.
      • Multi-Microgrid Networks.
      • Energy Communities.
    • Study of innovative control, automation and protection methods for Smart Grids (at both Medium and Low Voltage).
    • Evaluation of the impact of e-mobility and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) innovative paradigms on the Electrical Networks.
    • Development of methods and tools for reliability and adequacy analysis in "traditional" Distribution Networks and Smart Grids.
    • Smart Grids and Electricity Markets.
  • She is author and co-author of many scientific papers, mainly published in international Journals and Conference proceedings.
  • She serves as Associated Editor, Guest Editor and Reviewer for some international Journals in the field of Power Systems.
  • She is an active reviewer for various international scientific Conferences.
